In recent past years, you very seldom, if ever heard the word "Brain Tumour."  Today, more than 27 Canadians are diagnosed with a Brain Tumour each day.  The word "Brain Tumour" has unfortunately become more popular.  Some people don't realize that Brain Tumours are very serious.  They can affect anyone, no matter what age, gender, or race.  The diagnosis of a Brain Tumour is filled with fear and uncertainty.   The brain is the control centre for the body.  It controls the things we choose to do, like walking and talking and the things our body does without thinking, like breathing.  The brain is also in charge of our senses, such as sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell.  It also controls our memory, emotions, and personality.  No one knows the exact causes of Brain Tumours.    A cure must be found to put an end to this deadly disease.
